Latest Updates from Our Project:
Just a Few Days Left! Time for a Deluxe Deluxe!

Greetings, gamers!
Only a few days left to go in this wonderful campaign. Thank you so much for being with us and along for the ride. But, now that we are back from PAX Unplugged, I think it's time we shared our next (and final) add-on for the campaign...
You Want Walls? We Got Walls!
Alright folks, you asked for it. We've got some 3D punchboard walls for you available as an add-on! Here's an early look at what we're thinking.
These walls fold and slot together. They will work with both the neoprene mat and the standard game board, whichever is your preference for playing. They add an additional cosmetic element to the game, really making the cabin pop. This was one of the most requested add-ons back when we asked you to voice your opinion on what we should add, so we are glad to offer this to you!
Just like before, if you want to add this to your pledge, simply click the Mange your pledge button on the main page, and go through those steps to update the add-ons in your pledge.
Fancier Game Dice
Some of you also asked about upgrading the dice in the Deluxe Edition game, and we've come up with something for you here:
They're the same design and plastic material as the dice in the Deluxe Edition game, but we're going to mold them with a cool red and black marbled effect instead of plain black. These are now available as an Add-on!
Would You Like Some Deluxe with Your Deluxe?
So what's this about a deluxe version of the deluxe game? Well, with all of these add-ons being offered, and since this is the last add-on we will be adding, we thought it made sense to offer a gameplay all-in backer tier that will provide a new version of the game and all of the add-ons bundled together. We think it's pretty groovy, so that's what we've called it.
If you back at this new Groovy pledge level you will get:
Deluxe version of the game
The extended neoprene playmat
Necronomicon dice tray
Premium dice bag
Marbled red game dice, as above
3D walls, as above
Check out all that groovy goodness! And, of course, at a small discount because you are such amazing Deadite slayers - or Deadites? - whichever works.
Last Call for Imaria
Finally, we want to give one last shout out to our TTRPG arm who is wrapping up their Imaria: The Pillars of Power campaign! If you haven't checked it out already and are a fan of TTRPGs, give this 5e supplement book a look. They have lots of goodies, including an adorable pegasus plush that is the company's new mascot.
Thanks so much, and looking forward to the last few days!
What's that coming out of the fog? Time to scream for neoprene!

Greetings, gamers! Read on for the latest updates about a new add-on and some bonus swag for the upgrade pack.
Neoprene Mat Add-On
Many of you asked us if it was possible to get a neoprene playmat, and the answer is yes. Let's just jump right in and show you this beauty...
That's right! We are adding the neoprene mat as an add-on for those folks who want it! This will be a very limited run product. We'll only do a small print run based off of how many backers choose to add this to their pledge. We will probably have a few extras to handle replacements and possibly have them for sale at conventions and the like, but this will not be available at retail. The mat will measure 36 x 22 inches (the standard game board is 22x22 inches) and show off that groovy new board design, along with spaces around the edge for card decks and tokens.
How to Update Your Pledge
If you want to add this - or any other add-on - to your pledge, click the Manage your pledge button at the top of the main campaign page. On the next page that loads, click the Change your pledge button. From here, you will have the option to change your pledge tier. Once you select a pledge tier, you will be brought to the add-on screen and can select the add-ons you want to add to your pledge.
Bonus for Upgrade Backers
Once again, you spoke and we listened. One of the things that you often requested was for backers of the upgrade tier to be able to get all of the updated cards (with the new back graphics) as an add-on. Even though these new cards did not have any changes to gameplay, backers still wanted them to have a fully-upgraded game. We totally understand! So we decided to go one step further. We are adding the new version of the cards to all pledges of the upgrade tier (deluxe backers already get them). If you are already backing at the upgrade tier, there is nothing you need to do; you will already be getting the new version of the cards.
Unfortunately, we can't update the description of the tier. But rest assured that all backers of the Upgrade will be getting the new cards as well as what is listed.
PAX Unplugged Reminder
Finally, just a reminder that we will be at PAX Unplugged this weekend. Lynnvander will have two bases of operation. We'll have some tables in Hall C in the First Look section where we'll be showing off the first two games in the Born at PAX® series, based on our Design a Board Game Live panel. We'll also have a table in the Brandland area just outside of the main hall. Hope to see you there!
We're also doing another Design a Board Game Live panel this show, with special guest ProZD. That's on Friday December 1st at 1:00pm EST, and will also be streamed on https://www.twitch.tv/pax2.
Board Updates and PAX Unplugged

Greetings gamers!
First, can we take a moment to say just how groovy it is to be over 200% funded? That's awesome and I wanted to take a moment to say thanks to all of you for helping us get there. It's incredible and it's wonderful to have you along for the journey.
Now on to the business.
Board Updates
Alright, so we've heard the feedback that the red lines are too intrusive and take away from the spirit of the game. We've been exploring different options and paying attention to the comments in the Kickstarter. One of the solutions we talked about was dual-siding the board, but this just meant that people would have a choice of options, and it didn't feel like the best possible solution.
After turning Josh (the artist of the game board) loose to rewatch the movie, we think we have come upon a good solution that is both a visual and a thematic improvement: that classic evil fog. Have a look:
The eagle-eyed among you might also notice a small color difference. We found many of the boards in the original printing came out darker than we would have liked, so we've done some tweaks to the overall contrast as well.
In addition, we're seeing what a spot UV treatment would look like, to make various features on the board, including those border lines, pop even more. At the moment we're working with the manufacturer to get a sample board made so we don't have any pictures of the physical product yet. But rest assured, we'll share pictures when we've got them.
Just a reminder, this is the game board that comes in the Deluxe Edition pledge. If you already own the game and have pledged for an upgrade pack, you can get this version of the game board as an add-on:
PAX Unplugged
Next week, our team will be heading to PAX Unplugged, so feel free to come by and check us out! We will be located in two different locations. We'll have some tables in Hall C in the First Look section where we'll be showing off the first two games in the Born at PAX® series, based on our Design a Board Game Live panel. We'll also have a table in the Brandland area just outside of the main hall. If you're heading to PAX Unplugged, drop by and say hi! And if you've ever wanted to help design a board game, you should attend the Design a Board Game Live panel...
Imaria: The Pillars of Power
Also, if you're a fan of TTRPGs or know anyone who is, you should check out the Kickstarter being run by our TTRPG arm of the company. They've launched Imaria: The Pillars of Power, a 5e supplement book. Check it out to see what goodies are in store! It's already funded and going strong.
You've asked - We've listened!

Good-day groovy backers!
We're still rising like the deadites and continuing to grow after reaching our funding goal. For that, we praise you. Thank you so much for your support!
Your comments have been awesome, stuffed full of suggestions and ideas for how to make this game even more extravagant. When we first started this reprint campaign, the goal was not to print a lot of extras or create too many add-ons because we wanted to run a smooth Kickstarter and wanted to be able to deliver the game promptly.
But then, some of your ideas raised our team's eyebrows in ways we didn't expect. From there, we felt compelled to research some of these prospective ideas to see what was possible, and what we could deliver in a cool way. Special thanks to our manufacturing partners and designers being so quick and concise with our requests - some of the results are already in. We're proud to say we are able to move forward with some groovy add-ons!
New Add Ons
Firstly, we are able to announce a very groovy partnership with Foam Brain Games! They are an incredible top-tier manufacturer of dice trays, bags, pins, dice and more! Since we already have incredible artisan dice from our partners in Dispel Dice, we decided to work with Foam Brain on a dice tray and dice bag.
Extra Game Board
So many of you have expressed wanting to just buy the game board as an add on since it was not included in the Upgrade Pack. When we planned this Kickstarter, we designed that Upgrade Pack pledge to only contain the things with updated rules text (but none of the other cosmetic changes) because we wanted it to be as affordable as possible for those of you who already own the game.
We've checked with our manufacturing and fulfilment partners and realized this is a pretty easy add-on. The estimates in the shipping prices table on the page for the upgrade pack are still pretty accurate and won't change much if you add a game board to your upgrade pack. All of this to say - we're proud to announce the game board as an add on!
We are still following up on the other suggestions such as the neoprene playmat and 3D cabin walls. We're awaiting several notes from our manufacturer, licensor, and fulfillment partners to be able to gauge whether we can offer these other items to you.
Got any other items you'd like to see? We cannot guarantee anything but we can promise to listen and review your suggestion for more awesome add-ons.
How do I get these awesomeadd-ons?
You might ask, especially if this is your first Kickstarter. If you've already backed the game, there's a little toolbar that appears at the very top-right of the page with a "manage your pledge" button. Click that, then click "Change Your Pledge". From here, you can confirm the same option you had before, then pick these out on the "configure pledge" screen. Any of these items can be added to any pledge level. All of these items will be available in the Pledge Manager after the campaign as well.
Cooperative Mode Playthrough
We've been streaming live plays of the game periodically on our Twitch channel Six Sides of Gaming. The other day, we played the cooperative mode we streamed the other day live, which turned out to be a pretty tense game. Check it out!
Shameless Plug
Lastly, our Lynnvander Studios RPG team will be launching a new roleplaying setting (and so much more!) called The World of Imaria. If any of you deadites are also fans of fantasy RPG and 5e-compatible settings, please follow and check this campaign out:
Until next time, stay GROOVY!
Let's Talk Add-Ons
– Mon, Nov 13, 2023 at 02:46:18 PM
Greetings, gamers! So today we are going to talk a little bit about the add-ons that we are looking at. Based on the comments that folks have been making, we see that there is some interest in us making more options available. All of these are currently in the investigation stage.
Potential Add-Ons
Updated Game Board
We talked about this one in the previous update. This would basically be the new version of the board for folks who already have the original game. This one is a matter of us getting the necessary details from the manufacturer. Once we have that information, we can see if it makes sense for us to put an add-on up for it. We hope to have updates for you on this one very soon. To be clear, this would be the board that already comes inside the deluxe version of the game, so you wouldn't need it if you are backing at that level, unless you wanted a second copy of the board.
Neoprene Mat
A few folks have asked about getting a neoprene mat version of the board to use. Luckily, with our experience from making playmats for Snap Ships Tactics, we know the appropriate people to talk to about this. So we are going to see what it would cost and if this is something we can add to our offerings.
Themed Dice Bag
Since we have some really fancy dice, it makes sense to include a really fancy dice bag, right? We are floating around designs for one internally that would be appropriately themed.
3-D Punch Board Walls
An atmospheric update, these would be miniatures for walls of the cabin. Basically, any hard barrier for the cabin or the shack would have one of these babies. They would increase the immersion just a bit and look great on the table. Or maybe you just want to add a bit of creepy cabin decor to your desk or bookshelf?
NecronomiconDiceTray
We're also exploring making a brown leathery dice tray with the face of the Necronomicon engraved into the rolling surface. This way, if you happen to have our limited edition Dispel Dice Necronomicon Page Dice, you'll be able to roll them in the book tray... and summon all sorts of evil?
These are some of the add-ons that we are looking at. Which of these are you most interested in? Is there something you’d like to see us add that we haven’t thought of? Please let us know in the comments either on this update or on the main page.
Upcoming Streams
Six Sides of Gaming is running their usual D&D live stream on Wednesday, the 13th. After that game finishes, they are planning on taking a short intermission before playing Evil Dead 2 the Board Game. Not just that, but they are going to play the cooperative version, so you can get a look and see what it’s like! We’ll update the main Kickstarter page with the time, or you can subscribe to the Six Sides of Gaming Twitch or YouTube channels.
